Always In Vogue

Always in Vogue seeks to address fashion from an integrative approach. What this entails is the assessment of fashion on a psychological, functional and artistic level. Similarly the organisation is also interested in its related activities, this includes photography, graphic design, media coordination and event coordination. We recognize that fashion is inherently human and no garment without a benefit or cost to our global environment and the people who inhabit it. We seek to educate youth on the importance of ethical production and ethicacy in the fashion industry as a whole. This will be achieved through the collaboration with small businesses, the promotion of quality and local craftsmanship as well outreach programs. Always in Vogue is committed to embracing its community at Glendon and in Toronto. We strongly believe in supporting those in our city who are disadvantaged and seek to reground fashion as a product and culmination of community. In this vein we will facilitate connections between industry professionals and the generation to come. Our team is committed to creating a safe space for all who seek to explore their creative sensibilities as it pertains to fashion and its related fields.

Glendon Muslim Student’s Association

The Glendon Muslim Students’ Association (GMSA) is unique compared to other faith-based organizations in a few key ways. First, it operates within the context of Glendon College, York University’s bilingual campus, which means it engages with students in both English and French, promoting a diverse, multicultural environment. Second, the GMSA not only focuses on providing religious support for Muslim students but also emphasizes building an inclusive space that fosters understanding and collaboration between Muslim and non-Muslim students alike. Additionally, it seeks to balance both spiritual and cultural needs, ensuring that Muslim students have opportunities for prayer, religious education, and social activities while also contributing to the broader campus life. This blend of religious, cultural, and linguistic diversity sets the GMSA apart from other organizations.
